You are drowning in the muck of your guilt and all the other negative
feelings... you don't really want to stay there do you? It not only suffocates you, it sucks the life out of anyone who wants to know you. Sure, it's fine for a while, wallow in it, dance in it, bathe for days in it, but eventually you have to snap out of it and move on. No one is raising you now sweetheart - you are raising yourself and only YOU are accountable now for how you turn out. Nut up baby doll and make yourself proud - life is way too short to overstay your welcome at the pity party. I say all of this as one who knows, so please don't take offense!
