Absolutely beautiful poem. Loved the personification of the river and the comparison between its flow and life. Great work!!!

Very well written.
This piece is flowing and brings a message about one's life. We all are rivers flowing and all of us have hard, smooth, falls, peace, etc. from the hills and valleys we live through. It says a great deal about how you see life. Very pleasant to read such a nice piece.

Re: Your poetry
Thank you for the kind praise, and comparisons. I too love Shel Silverstein and and fond of Robert Frost's writings. I am also becoming a great fan of Robert Browning, as well as the many fine poets that I have discovered on Blogit.

Your poetry
reminds me of Robert Frost, who is my favorite poet...Well, next to Shel Silverstein. LOL!
Seriously, I love the way you write.
