Pheww…. Now there’s a tortured soul.
Sedated and speared….. hold my hand in medicated icelands.
Some extremely gripping lines to convey the essence of this broken person.

Now, I'm here giving you your comment back: OH WOW. I actually feel your emotions acutely in this poem...WOW. I think my favorite line is :
Had to witness the sun set in my eyes . - That line is so bittersweetly beautiful...WOW.
