Russert never had any hidden agendas like so many "journalists" do...
he was firm but fair with whomever he talked with..he leaves some mighty big shoes to fill.....

This is tragic ... I will miss him on Meet the Press ... and his poor son.
By all accounts he was a great dad - he was just back from attending his son's graduation. Even when he was giving the politicians hell, his eyes were kind and smiling. Rest in peace Tim Russert
