This brought me to tears, No one should be robbed of their dreams.

It all "rings" true for many of us, me included. Dreams die hard ...
and then we hardly dream. You have a wonderful talent, I'm happy Sam turned me onto your blog

Sadly, the one part of yr poem that rings true, has to do with brown SLAVES
of the military-industrial complex, both mercenary and victim. Shalom...keep on keeping on!

I was glad sam promoted your poem on her blog, else I never would have seen it. Your poem leaves me broken. In more ways than one. I am broken up by the amazingly heartbreaking image of the last few lines. I am broken up by the fantastic visuals your words create. I am broken up by the brokenness of the poem itself. I'm simply broken. It's simply wonderful.

Good morning Jack, this was so profound. When dreams are lost so too, are we. Grand imagery. I am going to promote you tomorrow! I hope people come to read your excellent poetry. sam
