Sometimes the best poetry or writing just comes out. . .
It is just poured out from the heart onto the paper. I'm not saying that my "God's Child (?) Questions" is the best writing, but it just poured out of my heart onto the paper that way. When I was a teenager in turmoil from family problems, it was the same. Sometimes the best poems come out of crisis! I like that this poem isn't a crisis; it's just everyday challenges, which we can all relate to.

...36 years ago, i took a seminar...in law school...it was on the philosophy of language...we studied some interesting stuff...i remember an indian tribe who only had a present tense for verbs...no past, no future...there was a concept of a day that was before and a day that was yet to come...what we would call yesterday and tomorrow...but, to these indians it was not an old day and a new day...it was the same day...played over and over and over and...well, you get my drift...moon

That is the only way to write, deep from within. I love how the Lord gives great strength in our confusion. sam
