Your writing is amazing
You captured the horror of the rape of the woman, yet portrayed the humanity of her attackers. Powerful, intense, thought-provoking, amazing...They say soldiers who return from war without killing anyone are traumatized, but do not suffer from post traumatic stress disorder. Only those who actually kill suffer from PTSD. No matter inhuman a soldier may appear, he is still, in the darkest reaches of his soul, human.
