Pat,
It is a great reward, to realize that others have found some meaning in the book!
Thanks for reading

Re: Sira
LOL Naut! I've never been much of a tree climber, but I'll make sure there's one around, just in case!
I like the specification of attentive reading, and the idea of engaging the book rather than passively reading--the more involved you are with the text, the more you'll get out of it.
Thanks for reading, and for the great comment!

I agree, stirring the reader is all one can hope for. When it hits a personal level then it becomes a bane. sam

What a great reward for all your work: others seeing things you
instinctively put in. Your unconscious is a fabulous writing partner. It's that old "eye of the beholder" thing -- we translate everything according to our internal dictionary. Keep writing!!!

Sira
Reading, at least attentive reading, is itself a creative undertaking. Sometimes I engage in a kind of dialogue with a book, or at least parts of it. And there can be an analytic involved...And I love your expression of 'poking the bear'...Just make sure it ain't a grizzly, or at least have a tree close by...

Sira, what an insightful piece. I hope your book gets published so we can all read it. And what a wonderful attitude you have. I agree with you. We should all be able to interact together, varying opinions, disagreements, and all. And yes, we must always say what we have to say with respect. Here's to life and breath. Marie

What a great post, Sira. It's true that we not only write from our own point of view, but we also read and interpret from our own experiences, emotions, ways of doing things, etc., etc. So, how could we possibly see in your work what you see as you write it. The same for us all.
