Step in the right direction.

I applaude you for even taking the step.  I have never been a smoker but I know what is means to have any kind of addiction.  Keep pushing, you have started really great.  You will be amazed at how much will-power you have.  Just keep pushing yourself.  You can do it.  There is always a second chance at life.  This is your second chance.  Stay blessed. I watched my father dying of COPD; but still it hasn't stopped me because I haven't made that choice yet; good luck in your effort my dear; you'll make it if you really want to; God bless

You will win- I too had a crutch for near 25 years....alcohol..I am going on 5 and half years sober the body is a an amazing thing in time it repairs all the damage we do good luck!

i've been 'quitting' too - my habit was not chronic but it is very hard - but doable!
