This poem...
hurts my heart.  It's never easy letting go of something you have become comfortable with, and it sure isn't easy moving forward after letting it go...especially when you feel betrayed.  You display this heartbreak magnificently with your rhyme scheme.  Thank you.

Moving on is tough...
but so is being taken advantage of!  Your words flow beautifully out of this poem, I can relate to every single word!  Thanks for sharing! Talia

Loss is tough, but the egress to affirmation is quite admirable!  sam

oh sorry ... that is what I named the last blog on another site
that I copied and pasted into an email to myself.  Your poetry indicates there were things said ... write those things down, write down what he did to hurt you most ... carry it around and read it.  I could send you mine since I no longer need it, but I don't think it would apply

Re: That's the bitch, isn't it ... when you think about the good?
yeah it's hard to forget the good times. I don't think I have ever seen the "final straw" e-mail.

That's the bitch, isn't it ... when you think about the good?
I printed out what I call the "final straw" email - I carry it with me - I used to have to take it out 2 or 3 times a day when I would start thinking about the sweet things, and I would snap right back ... for the moment.  Finally, I only pulled it out once a day ... then twice a week ... then once a month ... I can't remember now the last time I looked at the cold, hurtful words that convinced me that love was gone, and the ugliness far outweighed the bad .. but it does happen ... and then you meet someone who you can give your whole heart to because you have finally gotten it back.  Rambling again, sorry.  Love the poem, honestly, you have a wonderful talent.
