Re: Hi chinartree
Thanks.Life in kashmir is like a sinusoidal wave.It touches highs and lows in terms of violence,peace,enjoyment,dullness,fast-slow pace with surprising regularity and intervals.
For the past 20 years,we have witnessssed gun battles and street fights almost ondaily basis.its had the effect on the general psyche of the people, needless to mention the disturbing social fabric. While we have numberless soldiers keeping a vigil on even the smallest street, separatists still manage their place.
Amidst all this, the valley of kashmir presents itself in a splendid grandeur all around. The beauty just mesmerises the soul.Lakes in abundance, mountains in plenty its draped in colour of the green.
Want me to write more on this-let me know.
Thanks again.

Re: green green ...
It definitely does.Writing for me demands calm, serene, sedate and laidback lifestyle and this place offers that no end.
