The mind dwells on past events that cause emotional upheaval -- like a film clip on automatic rewind...but time has a way of cataloging past events, so that they can be remembered at will or when prompted by current events. Soon, they no longer prevail. Time plays many roles, including that of "healer." Nice write. Thank you for sharing. Peace, blessings and understanding.

Very excellent poem!  Keep it up!   Bravo!!!!!!

We tend to have a hard time moving on when there is nothing better siting in front of us yet.
