Our younger son served two tours in Iraq with the Air Force, and both my dad and my father-in-law served in the Army in World War II. Heroes all.

Thank you on behalf of family members lost and a son currently serving! It is hell to come from a military family from a mom's perspective! I am proud of all of them but the long term grief is unbearable at times. It never goes away. sam

Beautiful poem , very timely and full of patriotism. Good for you! We should remember more often that those are our kids fighting out there and support their effort even if we do not agree with the politics.
