You can read my thoughts? Wow. You're good. Hell I can't even read them;
they're in cuneiform or Sanskrit or Mayan or something...
But, yes, sam, we really do need groups like the ACLU to defend our freedom and personal liberties. People can gripe about them and complain about how they're undermining American values, but they really aren't. They exist to protect the rights of the individual against discrimatory practices by others, be they individual, organizational, or governmental. And I cuss them on occasion myself, but I do so understanding that, for the most part, they're protecting us all.

I enjoyed reading your thoughts. I am always unsure about the ACLU, they seem to grasp on to anything at times. But I suspect they have to though! sam
