Just reminded me of that story I heard in my childhood days about this
lover who said I'd do anything in the world to meet you everyday. And then one day when he didn't come and his fiancee asked him, turned around and said, "But it's raining today"! Trust us as human beings to make assurances which we cannot keep? But maybe u are talking of dogs, in which case I fully endorse your poem
