sam444 - in this case the point was to take the "short end money"
In other words to flip it quickly at a discount by taking the short end instead of holding out for the high end of fair market value. The stipulation was made for immediate payment in the eBay listing, which I received within minutes via PayPal. . . . I love this country, I love junk.

Sunnybeach7 - most people woudn't know what that thing is including me
I had to look it up online. Once I discovered what it was for and realized that it was a semi-redundant technology, I knew that it was perfect for eBay. It sold within 3 hours.
