I have been reading you quotes for some time and I find great comfort in them. Religions will always get in the way of communing as the Lord wants us too. I hope you continue to post. Even though I am of another faith , for me it is for worshipping  and a reminder of how I should carry myself in this world. Anyone who speaks of love and an a coming together of people has my attention and I deeply respect you and your prophet!  sam

Re: Obstacles to Understanding
I thank you so much, your coments brought me to tears. I do understand that many Muslims themselves are tainting the Islamic faith, not just radicals but mainstream mostly Arab Muslims are not living the life that Prophet Mohammed and all the other Prophets asked us to lead. If I never hear such kind words to any of my writings again I will not mind one bit, and to quote from a movie, I thank you, my cup runneth over.

Obstacles to Understanding
When a worldly person stumbles over an obstacle he/she swears at the obstacle.  When that same person sees another person stumble over the same obstacle he/she laughs at the other person and sees that one as weak.  In religion and other views on life it is pretty much the same.  Most Non-Muslims will look only for that in Islam that they can complain about while their own traditions have the same kinds of history of mistakes by people who walked under their banner.  Non spiritual people of all religions are only interested in their own glorification and will always look down on people of a different religion.  I have been enjoying your blog since Mohammed was a truly wise man who did his best to make life better for his people and everybody can learn from his sayings.  Unfortunately in the Non-Muslim world people perceive Islam as a threat and therefore treat it as an enemy.  To be honest, Islamic teachings are a threat to those who prefer to live life in total abandon and freedom to live with no forethought about the effects of their immoral behavior and with no consideration for others values.  And then there are those religious leaders who want to be known as the only favourites of God.  Time will teach them that they were chosen to show us how not to live.  Keep on spreading the wise words of a great prophet.
