None of that matters. Pennsylvanians and Ohioans and most Americans
have a right to be "bitter," cling to their guns and religion, because, by the time Dubya gets out of office, those will be the only things left to cling to.  What matters is doing something to get us the hell out of the financial mess Bush has got us into.  I don't give a damn who does it as long as the do it.  And I believe that no matter who is elected next, they're in for a tough four years and probably will not be reelected.  Unless they can do something about jobs and the economy. They can start with getting us out of that asinine war and putting pressure on the OPEC nations.

Corbin, I can't stand that man, he's such a phony!
I haven't seen you around much and got concerned.  Glad you are still with us.  I just added you to my favorites and will get around to you more.  Give Obama Hell!

Forgive me for responding to another commenter, but I did not want to let that fly. I hope you are doing well at least better. The Devil does not like you, you know that. I am praying for you!

I heard him responding to someone about that and did not deny that he said it. I believe he has said most of what he is accused for because the media was all over him like white on rice for so long. He has entirely too much Marxist behaviorism. I am speaking out because I would have spoken out when Hitler was running for president! If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck it is not elephant.

Has this actually changed anyone's mind?
I don't think so. The lies about what Obama actually said may change a few minds of some people on the fence but all of the politicians in the race have exactly the same risk of that happening. Clinton and McCain have dined on foot quite frequently.

Tempest in a teabag.

Yes!
Nicely put.

Nautikos,
"Haunt him"? In what way? It is not his fault that Americans have accepted criminal behavior as "business is normal"! Low expectations from the people "paid" to govern! Holding Sen. Obama to a higher standard only demonstrates that you people know better! It will be our loss if either Sen. Clinton or Sen. McCain smears him out of the process!

Nice to see you about, and I hope you're feeling much better!

Obama's remark was not only totally uncalled for, but it was also very stupid, and will definitely come back to haunt him...

I am afraid this will come to haunt Obama beyond his wildest dreams. Does H. Clinton attend church? I never hear any remark from her. I hope your recovery is coming along well.   sam

Corbin Dallas,
Welcome back to the lands of the governed! I am at the point where I know it does not matter what we think or say! The minds of most have been made and are closed to any suggestions or utterance that upsets their notions or beliefs? If Faith is not "the" answer? My questions to you? Where do we go for salvation? Where do we go next?
