Oh, but I was so much older then, I'm wiser than that now.

Too soon we grow old...
and the wisdome of childhood slips through our fingers like the sands of time

ahhh

and now my comp did it to me, i'm sorry! please delete those!

anyhow-- I am convinced that children and pre-teens are the smartest we get and then society dumbs us down and wears away our "knowledge grabbing antennae's" just to conform us to their thinking so that we can support their ways.... it would be fantastic to have the mind of a 5 or 6 year old with the physical capabilities of a 20 or 30 year old.

thanks for the topic!

Pristine rhymes with something
Your truth hasn't been taken from you by your experiences, they've been covered up.  Your truth is still there, underneath their filthy lies and illusions.  It's still there holy and *ristine.

Great writing.  Poetic, my friend.

Ahhhh, 'the filters' I like that! I am always fighting the insertion of filters but they must win out then and now for I know when I was born to this world, I had all the answers but then I was told that I did not and that my life was where I would learn but really it is where I lost my perfect reality. Blah, blah, blah. Thank you so much for commenting and always a pleasure having you drop in.

Isn't it true...
...that conformities are all about installing filters into us, to "keep out the evil," but, the side effect is to keep out pure and holy and pristine forms of experience and perception. I like the way you worded this post, SEEDLINGS....right to the heart of the matter. Very profound!
