Glennb....you nail it. The American Pediatric Association recommends 0...ZERO, ZIP, NADA....television viewing for children under two years old, as it rewires the brain; disallows cognative thinking. Is it any shock that people are getting dumber????

I stumbled upon "Rock of Love" a while back and couldn't believe my eyes. Yup - it's certainly an example of how TV his hitting an all time low.

As I have stated before, with threat of being locked away. Blame "Big Bird"! Parents sat their children in front of televisions all over this country and told them to watch these cartoon characters and puppets. No one suspected or expected these characters to evole into politicians and spin doctors! There was a small group of people if my memory is correct who stated at the time this was dangerous! They seem to have been right??

TV is horrendous, actually...
Recently I saw a sleeper of a funny movie, Mike Judge's "Idiocracy." For a minute there, I thought it was a documentary.

I've never watched either...I only watch one reality show - Survivor. It
was the original and then everyone started copying (and unfortunately, failing, in my opinion!)
