Many of those religious leaders hold views that should not only alarm policy makers but all of us...

You're absolutely right about the allocation of oil, Glennb. What I meant
was, given the parameters supplied by Americans, the Iraqis can't agree on allocation, which, by American mandate, must be in their constitution.  How's that for democracy?  As for who is in charge over there -- the U.S.  The U.S. has been in charge since they invaded, notwithstanding pockets of insurgency.

Saul Relative,
Allocating Iraq's oil reserves is America's notion, not the Iraqis! Iraq is a Nations and peoples of hard workers, not fat Arab sheiks and princes! I am not sure who is running the place now! But the only way to return to sanity is for America to leave!

We can't, sam. We're the leader. It's expected of us. And it is what
we want as well.  What we have abdicated in Iraq is responsibility, supplanting it with ideologically-driven empire building...

You are welcome, Glennb.

Oil matters a lot, Soul Builder and afzal. It's part of the problem with
unity.  The Iraqis have had problems figuring out how they would allocate oil equitably.

Nothing ends favorably for the U.S., I wish we would just come home and say the hell with it all and let the world have their say and we just listen and watch. sam

Sal Relative,
You and I disagree on the reasons and the outcome! If America were to prosecute the criminals who invaded Iraq, offer an apology and compensation to its victims, the Planet would benefit! Thus the Wall Street Journal is correct! Thanks for the quote!
