And fearful emotion can only erode your true self. We must find our beauty within and nourish that. For then will one be secure in themselves, their true talents and beauty. It can't but help but escape in your eyes, your smile, your demeaner. Great thought for the day!

I think we do get wiser as we get older. Though I am still quite young (so I think anyway), I grew up with a lot of older "wiser" people around. I think they may have rubbed off on me. Thanks for commenting samantha39.

thanks for the tip qgu. I have to admit, I'm not much of a reader (books that is), but I'm getting there. Reading these blogs has been the best thing for me. I never used to read hardley at all. So, in that areana, I'm starting out small. I really love reading what everyone write's on blogit. I won't tell you what degree I got without reading even my text books!!! Talk about a challenge, but I did it!

you should read "searching for God knows what" by donald miller...he talks about how people are constantly trying to prove themselves better than others simply because (he uses a lifeboat metaphor throughout the book) they dont want to b thrown off the boat...jealousy is def part of it and nice quote and i saw august rush too also a great movie thanks
