The same here. English is not my first language. I migrated to Australia at the age of 25. I was always happy to be corrected, too. That's the way you learn, right? If people corrected me in an arrogant tone of voice, however, I always asked them if they could speak another language as well as I spoke English. That usually changed their attitude.

Very interesting reading
I use English as my second language.Reading your posts I thought about my mistakes. Even here, on Blogit, I had very often comments correcting my posts. I wam always glad,when somebody is corricting me.I learned English by myself, mostly from books and every day conversations.

I find your experiences in the use of the English vocabuary interesting. However, it makes writing cool flash fiction for Blogit difficult. I will now use a fragment (according to Word's spellcheck). Ha!
