majroj - you have lost me here - what is the relevance of Second Life sim
to simple ecommerce?
But I do see where some things can be borrowed from the currently existing virtual 3D communities to enhance ecommerce. Interactive moving graphics could be a good example of this.

Can you imagine what running a Second Life "sim" is like, then?
I'm disparaging of it, but it is pretty awe-inspiring anyway. You can generate a free "account" and look around at no obligation. Instead of user friendly print and static pictures....interactive moving graphics, sometimes sound, in virtual three dimensions. And spammers (called "griefers") galore.

saul_relative - thank you for the kind words
I realize however that in the grand scheme of things, my little template project is leaning towards the primitive side, at least in terms of cutting edge design. Still, it is a great entry point for a lot of people that want to give ecommerce a try but can't afford to take a red ink bath in the process.

Those are excellent templates, my friend. Keep up the good work. The
internet needs more sites that exhibit style like yours...

sam444 - the hard part with this sort of thing is getting it going
But once I have a portfolio of installed and working stores, the project becomes self perpetuating. More installed stores equals more diverse demonstrations of the template's capabilities, which in turn fosters more sales of both the template and installation fees.

It takes two looks to really appreciate what you did and how effective it truly is. sam
