Alright, the love boat it wasn't, but the cruise ended great with your friends!

Krisles
Again, what I said in my comment to your other post applies here as well. This wasn't a 'shipboard romance', but certainly a 'shipboard flirtation', which can also be fun, as you clearly demonstrate here. You will have to think long and hard about whether you want to break the 'rule'...

First, it's great to have you back.
And evidently you came back loaded with material from your cruise in a couple of posts already.

My question in regard to this situation is: how much (if any) alcohol was involved at the time?  Obviously people feel a lot more comfortable and uninhibited when that great social lubricant is added to the mix.  Hard liquor is quick to turn folks into human blankets sometimes.

I hope this guy doesn't end up disappointing you by crossing that line.  Let's hope the cruise ship doesn't end the nice friendship.

A tough situation, but I think you did the best you could.  sam

I loved this post, the way you have reasoned with yourself and agonized about this matter is truly charming, I can see why you were a little taken aback with the  human blanket episode, I think black or white, that was a little forward of him since you had not known him that long, but maybe that is just the kind of person he is, or perhaps you are right and he was testing the waters to see if you were in any way uncomfortable with him.  Like you said , you "passed" so is a mute point anyway.   You seem to be a great person, not many women I know would have thought about this matter with such care and understanding of human nature.  Your friends J and M are lucky to have you and I am sure you will enjoy many nice travels with them. Thank you for sharing
