My goals are less lofty... if i could just have her believe that I genuinely think her beautiful I would be happy... I don't think I could ever change her own view of herself.

Sometimes we wonder why the person we love or care about so deeply can't see their inward beauty the way we do. All we can do is keep on loving and continue to remind them of their value - eventually (we hope) it will stick.
