I wouldn't worry too much about people who claim to once be a friend and now are not being too nice. I posted this back on 2/15/08:
What if those hurtful people were not "TRUE" friends at all???
Maybe they were the ones for just the time being,
and not the ones to keep for a lifetime!!!
I have literally hundreds of acquaintances,
but only a handful of
"TRUE / REAL" friends.
Best to you and your new job / be proud of that man!!!
