Goin' to Carolina in my mind...
I see rolling green meadows, foothills, sunshine. I think of the Smoky Mountains and a sweet atmosphere. I don't think of drought. I hope the rain comes steady and slow and the lakes fill and the trees soak it in. I hope the snow on the high peaks hangs in and melts slowly so it sweetens and blooms all summer long. I'm ready for winter to be a memory.
