Carl
She has harsher (is that a word) feelings towards her dad than she does me.  He won't even talk to her that is one of the reasons we divorced.  When she got pregnant the first time he just washed his hands of her.  When we divorced she went to live with my parents but does not want to live with them again.  Thursday I thought she was ready to make a decision but the last few days she has gone the other direction. She has an appointment Wed with her counselor and I hope/pray that the counselor guides her in the right direction. Thanks for reading and the advice

Just a thought...
Perhaps Kira has another relative she would feel more comfortable staying with while she leaves "Hiney", has a baby and generally tries to put her life back together.  Whatever the problems between you and her dad, there may be good sense in letting him take her in for now if she will go to him and not you.  Plus there might be others, uncles, aunts, cousins or family friends that could help.

Sometimes we have to swallow our pride in wanting to be the rescuer of our children or restoring damaged relationships and let others help.  Especially if our wanting to help is seen as an attempt to control, as it often is in such circumstances.

God bless,
Carl Peter

Thanks Pat
I know that she has to make her own mistakes but I have let her know that she has choices and that she has options that I am here for her. I just pray that she takes me up on my offer and SOON

Keeping my fingers crossed for you and Princess Kira...
She's going to have a rough row to hoe -- it's the hardest part of being a mother, watching our grown children struggling. All we can do is put one foot in front of the other, one day at a time...  :)
