Very nice!
I was in Afghanistan for several months over the last 4 years. And yes, no matter what language we speak, we must never lose track of our humanity.

No matter what language(s) we speak/understand, it seems that we can't come up with appropriate answers to solve the problems, to answer the questions that we all have. God bless your brother in Kosovo and Sam's son wherever he might be in this mess that humans have created.

I feel for you and your family. I pray that the trouble won't escalate into
full scale horror again. Old men should get into a boxing ring and with a stern referee, sort out their differences themselves. Yes yes, this is too simplistic but all of history has been blood shed over pieces of land silly stuff dug from the ground and mans religiojus concepts. None of this has anything to do with the living God.

I was taken with your dedication. I have a son in the military and he believe in equality for everyone. I share your thoughts, emotions with a separated heart. I admire his conviction but I wish it didn't have to be his conviction meaning we had peace and use the Old Testament as it was meant, for instruction. We could easily see we need to live in harmony. I support your brother and will put him my prayers next to your brother. {On the funeral, an accomplished writer can handle anything. The rationale behind this is that it stirs up an emotional experience that was uncomfortable. These tips I share are for the most beginning od writers and reminders for accomplished writers]. sam
