Actually it gets better the more people there are - they kind of begin to take care of themselves.  I always anguish about toilets and meals but find that guests seem to manage fine.  I think it's just me and us that anguish about it!

It's funny how you say 'when it's over, it is heaven on earth'.  I sometimes feel such a sense of calm that prevails over the house and me, I get totally relaxed.

You are such a gracious host!  I have never entertained more than 3 sleepover guests at a time, and probably would have no idea what to do with 4 or 5.

My brother, his wife and two sons stayed with me for 3 months until they could get an apartment. My house is two bedrooms and the arrangements were a nightmare, but it is like you said, we can get through these things. the, when it is over it is heaven on earth.  sam
