I agree with both of you: it was nice to be in a castle "again" and yes, they should provide us with earphone and a tape.

Well, I'm sure it was fun to have seen it. The next time in Europe maybe I'll make it. As far as the tour guide was concerned, I generally hate them. Maybe at that castle they should do what they have done in many other venues, especially art galleries - give you a tape player and earphones, and you can go at your own pace, listening to explanations that are usually professionally done and interesting...
