Sad to say, the first great love of my life dumped me just like the last one.  The little red-haired girl "Dear Johned" me before I even got my orders for overseas duty.  But I still remember her fondly and often hope she thinks well of ol' notapoet.

Hi, Shanlizer88
I'm pleased to meet you, and pleased you like my writing style.  My sports writing gig requires me to keep my phone line open as much as possible tonight.  So I'm blogging hit and run style tonight.  But I'm looking forward to paying you a visit over the weekend.

Thank you, sir.  Coincidences abound.  I'd noticed your name in the comments and have just returned from catching up with your latest efforts.
