Working Blues
To be successful at anything, I think you need time for your thoughts to marinate. I think It was Martin Luther King who said "Not everyone can be famous. Everyone can be great! Greatness means being true to ourselves, our values, our integrity, and our creator, by living our true purpose. Intention to our true calling brings us the needed enthusiasm, energy, interest and perception for loving ourselves and others.
Expressing myself creatively has been good medicine for me. Even Jesus reminds us, "If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. What you do not bring forth from within will destroy you."
Giving our hands permission to randomly draw stick figures and primitive images can give us a map of escape from our self-concocted fears. If you find yourself smiling. Hey look, your having fun.
