Re: Auslander
It's always interesting how people of a place will sligthly change the spelling of a word and makes its meaning completely different. Anyone who went to Grenada (the island in the carabeans, not the city in Spain) will know what I mean. It was, at one point, a French colony, and so, the inhabitants have a really interesting way of pronouncing all these french names with an "carabean-english" accent. Tough to find your way on a map, let me tell you!

Auslander
Neat! I have travelled in Bavaria, but have never been to Mad King Ludwig's Castle! Didn't have enough time. It's quite the place, so I've been told. Incidentally, Fuessen (I won't bother with the umlaut) actually comes from the Latin fauces, meaning 'gorge'. The place was founded by the Romans.
