Azur
'not bad for a week?' Not bad for a month. I keep re-reading your posts and finding more. I love the intricacies of your writing and your life, Azur. You are fortunate to have such a friend. Take care.

azur, like a fool, I keep promises made to others and never those very
important promises made to myself. Well, I do keep them, but much too late and not as well executed as when doing for others. A total fool, and now, an old one.

I'm sellinng that to a fortune cookie maker. BIG cookies.
My daughter got one last month, said "Ignore what is written on this paper". Koan, or Wiseass?

The best promises are the ones left unsaid.
Lao Tzu said the best leader walked behind and the people did not realize that he directed, because he did not dictate. A fortune cookie (yes, really!!) slip I kept for a decade laminted in my wallet said not to tell my friends what my dreams and plans were, but to do them and the results would speak for themselves.
Good poeple attract good promises, I think.

An awfully full week I'd say!
And a day in hospital on morphine...geez Azur..that doesn't sound good! You are so strong! An inspiration although I worry if you are in that much pain.
Your contact sounds like he comes through when you need him and I guess you can't ask more than that! But hey...you take care of yourself okay?
