Yes Nauticos. But all the ones you mention are SPECIALITY TV. What I am talking about is your regular public or private chanels (you know like CBC, TVA, etc.). The ones that everyone can have even without cable or satellite.

I have made the same observation about European TV you have. But we have a few good ones here in Canada as well, particularly the History channel, the Discovery channel, and of course the Cooking channel...
