It's true that most North American cities were not built with pedestrian in mind. But Montréal has a wonderful veggy market. As for Toronto, well, You've got to go out of the city and to the country side then!

There is something very appealing to buying fresh veggies from people who grew them. Unfortunately, in a city the size of Toronto the logistics of getting there and finding a place to park become deterrents...
