The closest I have to ugg boots is a pair of moccasins. I want ugg boots to go with my tracksuit pants and my general slovenly winter apparel. You do of course realise that Australian - US relations were almost reduced to a war footing over the matter of ugg boots ... a US company took out copy right on the name and then proceeded with legal action against Australian company's who have been making and naming their boots as UGG since sometime before Columbus was a precocious child.

forgive me
for the countless Australian clichés I've used on you for the past several... entire time I've known you. You must want to use my head for a rugby ball at this point.

Happy Australia Day
We had our own Republic Day today, January 26,when we became a Republic in 1950. We also have the usual hoopla.

Kangaroo's kind of gamey .. like venison .. it's far from my favourite meat though occasionally, growing up, we had roo patties (basically kangaroo burgers) and that was OK with plenty of gravey.

Australia... By the way, what do roo steaks taste like? It damn sure can't be chicken... Oh, and by the way, I agree about the patriotism and nationalism...
