Re: Grand lessons Damond, and needs to be practised in all seriousness.

I agree with you 100%; unfortunately, I don't know anyone including myself that lives up to them.  Thanks for commenting on them.

Re: lessons

If a person stop to think about it he/she better get on the good side of the cook, or they won't be getting much to eat at the cafeteria.  Thanks for commenting!

Re:

Hello my friend,

Thanks for coming by and reading Lessons on Life.

I appreciate it much.  I met a man one time that repeated my name when we met, and did every time he saw me.  I asked him how he remembered my name.  He said, that was why he spoke it as soon as we met and as soon as he saw me the first few times that we met again that way he never forgot a name.  Well it did make everybody feel good I am sure.  I know it did me.

Thanks again for stopping by.

Re: My what a great lesson for people of any age to learn, and good for you for

Hi Kabu,

So now you are in Canada?  I have never been to Canada or Australia either, but I have met a couple of ladies on www.allpoetry.com from Australia that I sure would like to meet in person sometime.  One of them I have become good friends with.  She has sent my wife and I a few things from Australia, and I have sent her a few things from the USA, and a small cookbook that was written by a local lady here in Arkansas.

Strangs how you can become close friends with someone that you meet on the internet, but have never met them in person.  I know people that have met that way and ended up getting married.  I guess that is what happened with you too--right?

Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks again.

lessons
what wonderful stories and even better lessons! As a teacher, some of the first people I always tried to be friendly with were the custodial staff and the kitchen staff. They are the real power houses in most school settings, but seldom recognized as such!

Great post!!! With learning the names of different people helps a lot if you just pronounce it often. And it pleases them, too! And, yes You can call me "friend"
