Thanks for the post , will have to see this movie.
as for joy, its the small things that seem to put joy in my life, like you, my kids, or for that matter just watching children is joyful.  A beautiful anything, view, flower, person, sky, etc., brings joy. Even my dog brings joy to my life.  I hope somewhere along the line i have brought joy to others.

I started reading, but as soon as I saw Jack N. was in it, I stopped, 'cause I want to go and see it! Jack is one of my favorite actors, and I don't want to be told about the movie before I watch it...

When I hear someone laugh at something I did or wrote that's my joy.
Maybe theirs too?
A rose and a smile from =^. .^= and me too!

Joy is essential because it lies at the core of our being. It is the essence of our connection to all-that-is. When we are in joy, we cannot be in fear and limitation. True joy, when discovered, permeates every aspect of our lives. It enables us to live in our full magnificence. The resonance of joy and love can change the world! For me, sometimes it's as simple as exchanging a meaningful glance or smile with someone I love.  In that split second joy is in the air.

Rolling around in bed with a lover, not able to make love because you're making fun (for a while at least)

Skating and swimming and climbing trees and towers, and teaching/letting your children do it

Doing something you shouldn't do and letting yourself to do it without guilt (or just a little bit, to know it's here)

Doing something creative but not overly important (for me, it's beading, but not writing)

To grow something from seeds/bulbs (plants are enjoyers ;-) by definition, but growing them from the beginning absolutely drives you nuts, for the past few days I have been obsessing over hyacinths I'm growing from bulbs, and it gives me way more pleasure that the ones you can buy in the shop, although mine are even not blooming yet).
