R u Mark's sister or neighbour?

Re: Sira

Thanks Naut! They really are charmers, especially when they're young!

If I can get Mark into the shelter, getting him to adopt a kitten shouldn't be a problem - he's a big softy when it comes to their little faces. Getting him through the door will be the hard part, but I'm using all my powers of persuasion on him!

Re: A Very Sad Day in Sira's House

I've been working on my husband, trying to convince him that "yes, we really do need another kitten!", and he gets a little closer to caving every day.

Re:

LLM,

Thanks very much for the kind words. I've been visiting with her every afternoon, and I'll definitely give her some "lovin" from you!

Sira
Being a 'cat man', I can I understand how sad you feel. Kittens are such huge fun, and to watch them grow up, each with its own personality is very rewarding. But then, you might want to take a trip to the animal shelter...

A Very Sad Day in Sira's House
My condolences on the loss of the litter of kittens.  Here's my suggestion for filling up that little kitten-shaped hole in your heart.  Go to your local animal shelter and either adopt a baby that will in all likelyhood be destroyed, or volunteer to be a kitten-handler and help a shelter litter to be people-socialized and more well-adjusted.  That way you can get to interact with kittens regularly and help them to have a better life in their adoptive homes! (Plus you don't end up with a gazillion cats, and you don't get your drapes shredded by rambunctious feline babies!)

I'm so very sorry, Sira.  I can't imagine how sad you must feel right now.  Please give Sophie a pet for me, okay?
