Can't answer the question about why she'd want to be with him... although I did find out yesterday that she's pregnant and the kid is his. She can't even support the kid she has...
Dad won't talk to my brother because no matter how hard Dad tried my brother made the same mistakes and followed in Dad's footsteps all too well... he doesn't know how to handle the disappointment and chooses to turn his back rather than accept.
Did I mention my Dad raised my other "brother" for 20+ years before the truth came out that it wasn't even his son?
The drama is DEEP... and it's like quicksand for me.
