Don't know how I missed so many of your posts. This one is top notch. You are a "writer" that I must remember to visit more often. Namaste

Well that sure was a journey, one I'm glad you allowed us to share. Never have I read such a descriptive personal piece on such a topic.  I'm sure this would be of such educational value to others, who find themselves in a similiar situation as you did when growing up.  It was really well wrote. A worthy contribution. Take care.

Blessings.

Sure is was and is a fact of life, I was a slow learner or more to the point I just wanted to stay a child longer than most, for somehow I knew becoming an adult wouldn't be all it was cracked up to be

What an interesting tale; beautifully written. At points it sounded poetic. I have no doubt you are  beautiful all over; desirable to be sure. Happy Holidays.

This is a GREAT entry.  You made me remember when my boobs came in and how difficult but exciting it was transitioning into womanhood.

Now that's quite a post--both in length and in the handling of the subject matter.  Very interesting.  It caught my attention at the first because my granddaughter is right at that age where you began.  My DIL just helped her buy her first bra (which she didn't want) and she is scared to death at the thought of having her first period.  She wants to remain a tomboy with her three older brothers and vacillates from awe to disgust at her stepmother breast feeding her new baby sister.  You did a good job of hold attention to the very end.

I can't believe you read this entire blog. You my darling shall receive many clicks from me, just for your determination alone. God bless you, you just read a short book! Yeh, I was a slow learner AND somehow I knew that childhood was temporary and so I clung to the fun stuff till I discovered the 'other fun stuff.'

Wow, SEEDLINGS!

What can one say about that?  Good writing!

I'm sorry you were not more informed and had to learn the hard way.  I do admire your truthfulness.
