body language is key
sit straight up / legs not crossed but together / hands together on your lap / very dark blue or black tailored clothing / and act like YOU DON'T NEED THE FREAKING JOB - then try to relax.  look them straight in the eyes and tell them you can make a difference - and if it is a high-powered position - do some research for the "end question" annoyance.

It is always gonna be difficult...

unless you are totally sold on yourself in everyway. Most people aren't. Depending on the position for which you are applying, sometimes it is okay to admit you are nervous, although you should be sure they know you are very interested in the position and feel you are well-suited for it. (If you are going for a sales position or something to do with presentations, you must show them how well you hold up under pressure - so you shouldn't tell them you are nervous.)

Do your best to focus on the question they are currently asking, and not to get upset with yourself because of the way you answered the LAST question. Just keep it positive in all that you say to the interviewer. You know you can do the job, so just try to get across how much you believe in your abilities and your willingness to work hard.

Good luck with their decision, and no matter what the outcome, something good is always comin'! Just be sure to look for it.
