lindo
like I said to AnnOnimous, I think the trick is to find ways to enjoy it.  I know that's hard, but worth a try.  Cheers.

Ann Onimous
Terribly sad.  But, as a friend in New York (who was originally from Minneapolis) used to say - just have to learn to enjoy what you have!  I try to keep that in mind during the summers in Delhi, which are really oppressive.  It's a tough one, believe me.  But, it's worth an effort, yes?

Your winter sounds very nice
Ours can be very cruel, i used to like it a lot when i was younger, but now I must say that i would love to see the end of it soon.

I wish I could say the same
... about our winters. The skies are grey and it gets dark by 3pm. It is cold to the bone but not cold enough to snow. It will be another 4 months before we see flowers in the garden. Enjoy your winter.

Greenfields, today the dampness came.
It started raining during the night.  It was supposed to be ice but the temperature did not drop low enough for the rain to freeze.  It is a chilling dampness, clear to the bone if one is not dressed appropriately for the weather.
