Not going to Heaven

If a Christian feels they are not going to heaven, then they must not be living right. And if others tell them they are not going to heaven, then they should mind their own business. No one can tell if anyone is going to heaven, that's Jesus' job. And Heaven will be right here on earth anyway.

A true Christian would never tell anybody whether or not they will go to heaven. An unrighteous person can tell you anything, especially if they're speaking for Satan or have their own warped theories.

People have got to stop listening to other people telling them what their life should or should not be. Live for yourself. Do your own thing. And when it's time to face Jesus, He'll tell you where you're going, that's for sure.

got knocked out again...

....all different people. It's not necessary that we agree. It's just necessary that we be respectful of other's beliefs. That's all.

Re: Great, Sam!
You can tell the righteous people because they don't try to ridicule those who don't believe what they believe. I just wish folks would realize that we are ALL

Xeno-x - if you can imagine, I get told a lot that I'm not going to heaven

What I find remarkable about this is the source of these condemnations.  The people who routinely do this must have a great propensity for kidding themselves if they think that they are going to their mythical heaven themselves.

How I answer this is by telling anyone that would condemn someone else based on their religious beliefs is that they are promoting an inconsistency, (though I don't always put it that way). Simple math and rudimentary observation should tell anyone that whatever religion they subscribe to could only possibly represent the beliefs of a small fraction of humanity in an historical context. Even the larger and much older religions have only enveloped a fraction of mankind of all time. This should tell anyone that if they believe in such constructs as heaven, everlasting peace, eternal salvation, shangri lah or whatever, that the criteria for entrance is either contained within all beliefs or within none of them. If entrance to the pearly gates is not absolutely universal and all inclusive of all peoples of all time, then it is nothing more than an exclusive mentality pipe dream.

I don't know that anyone can say they are going to heaven. Scripture says to store your treasures in Heaven, not on earth. God says believe in me and thou shalt not perish. I believe that is the only affirmation stated in the Bible. I seek to be one with God, because he is a spirit, I want to dwell in the New Jerusalem with Him. Judgment day is the determining factor for me. Only the Lord knows who will reside with Him. Jesus said 0NLY BELIEVE!!!!!!!!!!! SAM

As a Christian, I can't say one way or another if I'm going to Heaven.
Salvation belongs to God alone.
