Yes, We are here to love...
even if we are not loved in return. And sometimes we feel like "The Giving Tree". And the pain is real, as real as the love.
Not only most guys, but most gals do not understand love... yet. Even those who do understand at some level still labor under their previous misunderstanding. A blush or a wistful smile will be brushed aside in favor of the expected, the planned and the conventional prospective mate. They will tell themselves that they love someone who also does not really love them because they have dated them, they know their families, they are the same age and people say they are a cute couple. These are superficial connections and they know it. They flirt and fall in love with someone outside the limits and then pull back. They insist they love someone who was not on their mind when they flirted and fell for the unexpected. It takes a lot of pain and heartache to realize where your true heart lies. When it is you that has already realized this, it takes a lot of patience and unrequited love and worry before your true love recognizes this.
And such are our beautiful, heartrending lives...
