Re: Lovely Lady Cee
Seedlings, How beautifully said.  I spent two years in mourning and after all this time, I've come thru it and actually survived.

Thank you!

It is time to get back in the saddle again.

Love,

Cee

Lovely Lady Cee
But the tears come less often then they once did...I'm sure...and yes we will always love the persons that we've loved for it is not within a woman to pretend love nor deny it. It is what we bring into this world, it is what we live by and teach our children and eventually our friends and spouse. You will always love, for there is no other way, however there are loves that stay in our minds and hearts only and there are the loves that remain physically to caress with admiration and tenderness for time and all eternity.

Re: Welcoem Back from Athens Carole! So it was the LOve Boat without Jay, L
Actually, the love boat started once I got home!! No, I DID get your phone call. I'd left my phone in the car while I was at a Tori Amos concert in Lawrence, which was great. We were also greeted with the Fred Phelps picketers. No one gave them the confrontation they were wanting, so they left. Love prevailed. Namesthe to you!

Re: About the song
Hi Brian - Well, Whitney's version is a killer, especially when she modulates up a key.  She IS the Diva!  DP, I am not particularly a fan of her either, but like her hits like 9 to 5.  She has written some killer songs and she's got that yodel quality that when used to evoke emotion, she can do!  Hope you get to hear it!

About the song
Funny, for me Withney Houston the original, and I didn't know it was a Dolly Parton song till I've read your blog. One allways learn. Neverthless I love the WH version, I thing she's a cool singer, and I don't like particulary Dp but I admit I've heard only a few songos with her. I'll try to get her version. While I'll listen to it no doubt I will think of you.
