Re: Re: This just goes to show...
Please, if you have a point Dems make it.  Don't try to bait me into some sort of ridiculous back and forth.  Obviously my point is that Edwards is not my choice for President, what's your point exactly???

Re: This just goes to show...
So I'm curious who you think "know[s] about being president"? The American people? Oprah? Karl Rove? Bill O'Reilly? George W. Bush?

This just goes to show...
How much Bill Maher doesn't know about being President.  I did appreciate the footage of Maher clearing hecklers out of a live audience a few night ago though, I had to respect him for that smooth move.  John Edwards for President though, no way...

Re: So he's in love with the Breck girl?????

I think all of us have some influence when we start to talk about a candidate. I've been mentioning Edwards since we decided to support him and have found an increasing number of friends and family start to support Edwards because of my bringing up the reasons for wanting Edwards become the nominee.

Bill Maher has the same influence. The more he talks about why Edwards is the best candidate, the more people who watch him will start to give Edwards a second look. And some or many of those people from his audience every Friday night will become Edwards supporters.

So I believe we all have some influence. Even Oprah! :)

Re: John Edwards Interview and Endorsement

WavyDavy, Kucinich may be your favorite choice but he unfortunately doesn't have a chance of winning. And Gore is not going to enter the race at this point.

So I think we need to pick a candidate out of the top tier, and for me Edwards is the best of the three and the most electable!

Soul Builder
Soul Builder, Hillary is the favorite right now. Just like Howard Dean was four years ago. This is a combination of people not paying as much attention this early, Hillary having the Clinton name, and the Republicans bashing Hillary which has the obvious effect of everyone assuming that Hillary will be the nominee. This was the tactic taken by Karl Rove last time around -- by bashing the candidate the Republicans can win against, they make them the default candidate that the Democrats rally around and thus make the nominee!

So he's in love with the Breck girl?????
I'd love to think Maher has some influence.......and could help John out a bit.  But that's not gonna happen.....

John Edwards Interview and Endorsement
Dems: Edwards is better than Obama or Clinton but I prefer Kucinich for the Democrats.  Regarding the Republicans, I prefer Ron Paul.  If Ron Paul runs as an Independent candidate for president, I probably will vote for him but I'm still keeping my options open to see if anyone else will run for the office.

When the GOP propaganda boys start their crap-flinging steamroller,
Hillary won't stand a chance.  I agree that Edwards is the best choice and the best chance among the Democratic candidates.  After watching Lou Dobbs Tonight, with Hillary and Obama supporting the Dream Act, you're going to see her lose some voters (and it doesn't matter if Obama loses voters because he can't win anyway).

Hillary has been made the favorite! Barack and John seem to be trailing!
